After a great visit to Eurosport today, we took a little nap. Afterwards we got ourselves some crêpes for dinner and made our way down to the famous Ave. de Champs-Elysées. We shopped around until one landmark caught our eye.

The Arc de Triomphe. Unbelievably magnificent in person. The chaotic traffic consumes the circular road surrounding the Arc. After a few pictures we noticed something.

If you look closely, you can see little people at the top of the arc. After contemplating running across the road to get there (where one of us would have surely died), we found the tunnel that leads you to the base of the Arc.

A lot of stairs later and we made it to the top.

The Deadman's Catwalk in East Honolulu is the greatest place I've ever been in my life. Nothing has even come close in 4 years.

Today, however, I think this place may have matched it. The view overlooks everything you could imagine in Paris. The Eiffel Tower is just a few blocks over and the skyscrapers are highlighted by the warm sunset.

We had to wait a little over an hour, but we got to see it all over again in the dark. It was as if I was at a totally different place. Two breathtaking views in one place.

I will definitely be back before I leave.
